Hi Folks,
Only a few days to go until our Social Roll-Up on Friday 30th August. I’m delighted that we now have approximately 30 people joining in but it’s still not too late to add your name! I hope that as many as possible will stay afterwards for a drink and some food.
The aim is to start the games as close to 2pm as possible so please arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to give me time to organise rinks. We then hope to have all food arrive for 5pm. Drinks will be available from the Fridge at the usual prices or Teas/Coffees will be available at 50p each.
DRESS
A reminder that Club Tops and any coloured Shorts/Trousers/Skirts/Kilts to be worn.
FOOD
Attached is a list of Pizzas/Hotdogs/Burgers available for you to order. Please have a look so you can give me your order as soon as you arrive AND CORRECT MONEY (CASH) please, as I won’t have much change at all.
N.B. the Hotdogs and burgers do not come with chips or fries!
I can recommend all the food available – I have sacrificed my usual muscle-bound body to test them all out myself! If you have been to the Garden (on the Cowes High St) or Mermaid Garden (under the Island Sailing Club) then you will appreciate the quality of the food.
