I am contacting you to give you more details of our Social Gathering. I have sent you a copy of the poster that will be on display in the next few weeks. It is the Friday night before the outdoor season starts …. no game for the A Team, but the season starts with the C Team at home to the B Team! Exciting stuff!
The tickets cost only £5 each. It is not really a fund raising event, but a much needed get together and a chance to start the season with a fun gathering. I have heard that the Alberts are good!! And no, it wasn’t Dave Dawson who told me! Look on ‘You Tube’ and see for yourselves. Obviously if we get a good turn out it will give much needed funds to our Club. PLEASE TRY TO JOIN US! It is a chance to have scintillating conversation, a dance if you wish and a couple of beers if you want. It is open to all Members of the Community Club, as well as friends. So invite your friends! We are hoping to hold a raffle, which I will confirm nearer to the date.
Tickets are on sale already. You can buy them at the bar at the Community Club or from me. We have a players meeting on Tuesday March 18th, so this will be a great chance to buy your tickets. I will remind you a few days before that meeting.
I have spoken to John at the Community Club and he has agreed to open the Kitchen from 6.30 – 8.00. So if you would like a bar meal before the Band starts, it will be available.
On Friday 2nd May and Sunday 4th May we are holding an Open Day to attract new members -more details to follow.
