Hope you are well – it is so depressing with rain almost every day! Our green is very soggy so we cannot do any work on it.
Here is a reminder about a few things:
All remaining monies for the Full Membership annual subscriptions must be paid by the pre-season meeting. You will already have paid some of the total amount already (minimum £20) for your registration fee to BIOW, so the outstanding money is required.
The Pre-Season meeting is at Cowes Football Club at 7pm on Friday 6 March, when fixture booklets, etc, will be issued and team meetings held.
If you have entered any of the County Championships, all the draws are now on the BIOW website. Don’t forget that the deadline for entries for National Competitions is 1 March.
Finally, don’t forget to buy your ticket (£6 each) for ‘The Alberts’ at the Community Club on Saturday 21st March from 8pm. This was a great evening last year and I am sure that there will be many people wanting to go this time, so get your ticket(s) early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available from Graham or you can buy them from behind the bar if he is not around. Hot news is that David Dawson will be signing autographs on the night (for a fee, of course!) but has pleaded for no knickers to be thrown onto the stage (Steve!).
