A BIG THANK YOU to all those who were able to join us at the Community Club last night. With your help, it was a really successful evening.
So sorry that Dru and Sally were unable to make it last night… let’s hope we see you next year!
Despite wading our way through the car park last night, we were welcomed by beautifully decorated tables and a warm, peaceful environment. With 43 people settled down at their tables we witnessed various Trophies and Awards being presented, both before and after our meal.
I had many comments about the food we were served. Amy and her team did a great job. The waitresses were quick and polite and the food we had was very good …. there certainly was a lot of it!
A BIG thank you to Mark Baker for ordering the Trophies and for getting them engraved. It was a pity that several prize winners were unable to attend due to holidays and other reasons. We missed you. Mark has your trophies and we will get them to you as soon as we can.
Once again you were very generous with your raffle donations …. THANK YOU to Carol and Sandra for organising the raffle, which made a profit of £135 … a great result!

I was disappointed when we were considering whether or not to have a Presentation Evening, BUT I’m so pleased we did. Cowes Medina is a very special Club , with special people in it.
Hopefully we can look at a social get together in the New Year.
Finally, if any photos taken could be forwarded to me or Mark Baker, or preferrably to the people in the photo, it would be great. I will try to get our group photo in the County Press and Observer.
Mark will put some photos on our Website, as well as a list of prize winners.

My wife Rose has just left me because of my obsession with pens. Bye Rose!
Some friends have invited me to go camping next week, so I have written a list of things to do. !. GET NEW FRIENDS
Just told my friend he’s been looking at his atlas the wrong way round. He’s devastated. It’s like his whole worlds been turned upside down!
Just at the hospital. They have diagnosed me and I have the PEEKABOO virus. They are transferring me to the ICU department!
AND FINALLY
My mate read that you could increase the value of your house by knocking two rooms into one. Now his Living Room is 15 feet high and he has one Bedroom less!
