Happy Easter, everyone, hope you haven’t eaten as much chocolate as me today!
“If you go down to the woods (i.e. park) today” – you will see some banners around (see attachment) with details of our two Open Days on Friday 26 April & Saturday 27 April, both from 1pm to 3.30pm.
Also on the banners is the photo of a young(ish) bowler looking resplendent in kit and actually smiling, or was it wind? It took him ages to get the pose just right, and then even longer to get back up again afterwards! Who knows where it was taken though?
Thanks to Chris & Mick Lloyd, another banner is displayed on their fence on Forest Road & Parkhurst Road to give us more publicity – see if you can notice it when you are going past it. We will also be putting another banner on the railings on the junction of Baring Road & Castle Hill by the steps into Northwood Park.
Please point out the banners to friends & family if you go past them and mention our Open Days.
